EHR/EMR PDF and/or Attachments

The EHR/EMR PDF and/or Attachments did not automatically transfer into OASIS

If the EMR PDF and/or attachments (ecg, etc.) did not automatically transfer into the Utilization Review then, you have the option to manually add the chart and/or attachments.  

Know that it can take up to 10 minutes to transfer all the files from the EHR/EMR database over to OASIS.

You will know that the EHR/EMR PDF and/or attachments (ecg, etc.) were transferred by looking at the FILES section within the session; the document(s) will be listed.

In order to manually add a PDF of the EHR/EMR and/or attachments (ecg, etc.) then click on the ADD FILE(S) button and follow the prompts.  You may also drag and drop files anywhere on the page **, or use the add file button at the top of the screen.

The PDF of the EHR/EMR and/or attachments (ecg., etc.) should be added to the UTILIZATION REVIEW session's CLINICAL channel. 

The CLINICAL channel within the UTILIZATION REVIEW is where most of your activities will occur;  conversations, file sharing, etc.
