PUBLIC
1. Enter the event details
2. Select "Public" option
- In the video example, we are selecting “Public”
- We want everyone (with access to the platform) to be able to see this event.
- Both users are able to see the “Public” event
PERSONAL
1. Enter the event details
2. Select "Personal" option
- In the video example, we are selecting “Personal”
- We do not want ANYONE (with access to the platform) to be able to see this event. *This currently includes Site Administrators.
- Only the user (author) of the event is able to see their personal event.
Note 1: The Site Administrator will have had to set permissions to allow the individual to view, add, and edit SELF in order for the “Personal” feature to work as desired.
Note 2: It is not recommended that you create a ”Personal” event with the intent of utilizing shared features such as “Sign Up” or “File Sharing” because you are the ONLY one who can see the event.
